You put your name on the list to sit at a poker table. You got your chips and are ready to play. The big question which table do i sit at now. Well if you are in a a casino they already have set you up a table to sit at. You can try to ask the host if they will hold a seat for you at a certain table. Here is the reality of poker. You will probably be playing online with all the masses. So which table will you choose to sit.
My idea is simple choose the table with alot of cash on it. Here is the reasoning. If you sit at a table with like 500 dollars on it and you have 100 of the 500 they are all just trying to chip away at each other and will not make money. If you go to a table with lets say 1500 dollars now there is action. This can also be seen by looking at the table stats like how many flops are seen. You want to see alot of flops and alot of people in the flops like say 4 people to a flop. This table is an action table. So what style should you play there. I am saying the tight aggressive style. Tight like waiting for ace king spades and aggressive by betting all your stack and try to isolate your hand. Now you will probably get 3 callers so good luck and hope your hand holds up. Now the same can apply when at a casino. The problem is Florida right now only lets you buy in with 100 dollars so it is tough to make maney here. You need to be either lucky or real tight. When you watch a couple tables just sit back and see how much action is there and also. How much money is on the table. Just wait for a seat at that table and you will do well. Once again play tight. These players now have their chips and will not give them up easy. Especially where they started with 100 and built it up to 1000 dollars. I hope spotting your table will help you.
