Big title and yes a great event. This was a charity tournament which gave away a total of over 25 thousand dollars in cash and prizes for only 150 dollars. This is the first time i played in this event. How did the Diesel man contend with such poker legends you ask? Well i finished in 403 out of 530 people. I was mad but at least i had a good time and the dinner was great it was from Outback steak house. I had the chance to meet only two of the poker legends there. I had a chance ot meet Mike Matusow and Darvin Moon. These two guys were very nice and signed alot of autographs for all

the poker players out there. I only hope that they look at the card i gave them and contact me for a chance for them to listen and teach on the Learnpokerfromthejoes.com website and soon coming again podcasts. These guys are great for the game and Mike did live up to his play and had a pocket full of twentys to keep rebuying. Darvin and McEvoy also played well into the tournament. I really did not have a chance to see who won played the cash tables made 200 dollars and recooped my loses in the tournament and had to leave with my new 4 best friends the BBC club we call our poker geniousness. Ok so you ask how i played how was the structure and why was i out so soon. Here is the thing its a charity tournament alot of loose play and i was the big blind the flop comes 7 8 3 two diamonds i check player raise 4 times the big blind. With 6 3 diamonds in my hand i did what most players would do is isolate and push all in. I did not hit a diamond 6 or 3 and the young lady was so happy to double up and win with kings. RRREEEEEBBBUY i said madly. The next hand i got was 10 9 on the button. two people to beat everyone folded just the small and big blind. Well i raise of course to pick up dead money and i get a call. The flop 10 9 4 rainbow. I am like bingo in my head i need to make money in this hand right. The player bets i raise thinking the player might have like a 10 jack and might get there on the turn. The player immediatly goes all in. I think i end up calling hoping the player just has like jacks or ace 10. The player shows pocket kings. I think kings are the death of me lol. The turn a 7 and the river of course 7 so see diesel out of the tournament. I was proud of my play mad at the loss but still told everyone nice hand and well played. The tournament was a good one and it was nice to mingle with the pros for a little bit. They are just average guys making it in a tough world. Lucky me i was the first one out so here i go wearing the HUlA skirt. A little shout out to the BBC guys. Well it was fun and hope next year i win my prize package to the the Venetian tournament.
