There are a lot of things that can help you improve your game and win. There is a little secret that you learn when you start to bluff and play the player. These secrets are from my little stash and also from a little big player we know and love the Syphon. The things you learn from this game can help you all the way in your life too. There is a situation in the hand where you are the button
or in position in the hand and the board comes 4 4 9 all different suit. What would you do in this situation? A good player would make a move at the pot and try to take it down. Why you ask? Well a flop like that is easy to win. 9 out of 10 times you will win the hand because the players fear that you could have a 4 or a monster. In all reality the fact is you can only put the blinds on hand with a four or a real aggressive player like myself. The other secret that i do a lot is play erratic and fearless for a while. You as a player have to know to change your game up and keep them guessing all the time. One day real aggressive the next real tight. The problem is you as a player should be doing this as the tournament progresses. At the begging of a tournament the blinds are low you can afford to lose some hands and gamble. The later the tournament goes on the players will tighten up to make the money. This is where and experienced player can raise and take down some pots from the guys just trying to make them money. If you are playing cash you have to switch gears at the table if you are losing. What i will do is make the table play the way i want them to and crack them later. I will play loose and get the players betting like 25 dollars pre flop to win 3 in the small and big blind. What this does is make them play loose like me and are afraid of there pocket jacks losing pre flop. The easy part is you tighten up yourself as a player and take their chips. When they bet big they do this because they are afraid of the flop and want just 1 person in the hand. These people i made bet that big because before i chase open ended for 12 dollars and a flush draw for 8 dollars. So now they are mad and trying to beat me. The easy part is now i tighten up and take em down. Flop a set and bet they go all in easy gravy baby. I hope a couple of these secrets will help you and also write the next article for this site.
