A question that is easily answered. If you play reckless and the people watch you bluff a lot there will be a target on your back. The easy thing is that the players will always call you thinking you are bluffing or making a move. The problem is they can never tell when you have a
hand and you play so loose that you flush will get beat by runner runner. This you have to know the players are calling you with any two cards especially if you have raised there big blind 3 out of 10 times in a night. The cool part is you will get action and action you will get. You could raise three times the blind with aces and assured not that you will get at least 3 callers. Now that you have loosened up the table with your raises they will never put you on a premium hand like aces or a set or a flush. If you do have a target on your back from your actions at the table or your card play. The players will play anything IE i had someone call me pre flop with 10 4 off suit to a 3 times the blind raise and of course the story goes aces got beat. They will call you all the time saying. I can believe you have a hand every time. I new i had the best hand when they get runner runner. The whole point is that players have a tick and a sense to play their best or try to out play a good player it is ridiculous the play. A player in a tournament for even 10000 buy in will play a 10 4 against Phil Helmuth just to beat him in a hand. Yes we watched it on TV and saw the outcome. Just for a second analyze the play though. The guy raised and hit a pair with 10 high that is just gross. He had to try to outplay a pro just to get some of his target mans chips. Now if you are in a situation to beat a target player make sure you beat them so you have table control. Targets beware there are some players just waiting to make a statement with you.
may you have big pots,
