How to avoid getting outdrawn "forum dilemma" in poker

Recently we have had some discussion and it has been good for the poker world. I would like to thank Warblade and also Syphon and the guys for their posts. The question came up that the player had pocket queens and made a big 4 times the blind raise pre flop and the other player pushed
so he went all in. His odds were 49 26 24 percent i think into a 3 to 1 pot odds play. Was it good or bad play? Here is the big deal. There is a way to play when you are short stacked in a tournament. Also you need to realize that the game was a 5 dollar + 1 for a bounty tournament. This is why a lot of players will play anything just to make a point. The Warblade already has a target on his back because he talks about learnpokerfromthejoes.com and he analyzes his play. The players want nothing more than to knock off the player for his knowledge and love for the game. If Warblade would have just pushed all in and got one caller he would have isolated well. This is good due to the fact that he would at best pick up the blinds and antes if so. The other way to play is to just limp and try to get paid off with a monster hand hoping the players will hit top pair like 10s and the queens be the nuts. There is many ways to look at this hand do i slow play limp, min raise, or move all in. The way it came out he would have had to push all in but i think at that game the players still would have called u. There is no one correct way to play a hand of strenght. What you have to do at the time is look at your players and make a good judgement of the way they value their hands. This would of gave you some knowledge knowing these players were scared of you when you push all in. In this short stack play you need to isolate a good hand like u had pre flop and go up against like ace king and hope your hand holds up. This way you do not mess around and at least you pick up blinds. The easiest way to not get outdrawn would have to be the all in play. It is going to cost a player too much of his stack to call all in. This preventing an outdrawn move. There is many ways to play a hand like that one. Keep the posts up and good knowledge to that players. Good luck.

may you have big pots,
